A fantastic pairing that comes to us from the personal collection of Team Canada member, Brian Glennie, we have a 1972 Canada-Russia Series Team Canada “History Unfolds” framed lithograph display that has been signed by Henderson and Tretiak from 1997, the 25th anniversary of the Series, that was issued by Canada Post and a team-signed “When They Were Six” limited-edition lithograph. Starting with the framed display that features the artwork of Daniel Parry at the top, the print is serial numbered “64/419” and measures approx. 22 5/8" x 32 7/8". Just scratching the surface, the piece has been signed by both Henderson and Tretiak in pencil, as well as Parry, with all three displaying without issue. The rest of the display includes an Authentic Team of the Century commemorative stamp panel from Canada Post (no longer in circulation), Official First Day Cover and Proof Dollar from the Royal Canadian Mint with the paperwork for the First Day Cover and Proof Dollar signed by Post Master General, Andre Ouellet and President of the Royal Canadian Mint, Danielle Wetherup. Matted under grey and red and housed in a dark brown frame that shows minor wear and dings to the edges and corners, full dimensions measure out to approx. 31” x 38”. Also included is a framed team-signed limited-edition lithograph titled “When They Were Six”. The 2003 Douglas Laird litho measures 17” x 25” (exposed) and is serial-numbered “659/1950”, with 25 signing in black ink, including Glennie, along with Cournoyer, Dionne, the Esposito brothers, Redmond, Sinden, P. Mahovlich, Mikita, Glennie, Awrey, Ellis, Seiling, Henderson, Stapleton, Lapointe, Savard and a few others. Double matted and housed in a grey brown coloured frame with full dimensions of 30 ½” x 22”, the frame shows light wear with all the autographs displaying well. Featuring COA’s affixed to the back of each frame, both pieces are accompanied by a signed Glennie family LOA.
While all of our frames are thoroughly and safely packaged for shipping, due to the size and/or weight, and dependent upon the shipping company, we should mention that damage may occur in transit. Please note that as such, we are not responsible for damage to frames that occur during shipping.
