Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/1/2022
A member of the OHL’s Peterborough Petes for four seasons in the mid-2000s, goaltender Jason Missiaen was drafted by Montreal in 2008 and saw action with clubs in the ECHL and AHL. We offer a Canadiens jersey worn by the Chatham native during the 2009-10 preseason. “Goalie Style” labeling with a “58” size tag is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with the famous and sacred CH team crest, the red V-neck has been accented with “65” sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with the Canadiens centennial crest over the right shoulder. Sporting no discernible game-wear, with no evidence of washing to the fight strap, we should note that the jersey may have been worn briefly. The team patch (A01664) sits on the inside hem, while a hologram numbered “GW31048” from the Canadiens has been affixed to the reverse “5”, with a team LOA to accompany matching both numbers.
