Cards and wrappers and display boxes - kudos to our consignor for saving most everything, with 1983-84 material leading the chronological order here and the cards in impressive condition. Pack-fresh NM-MT, NM-MT+ and MINT cards are the norm, with the odd intermittent touched corner observed (but not many) and Pelle Lindbergh and Scott Stevens leading the rookie card lineup and Gretzky and friends the rest. A #262-Bobby Clarke card is required for completion, while a display box featuring Peter Stastny, (separated at the corners and flattened), is accompanied by 40 wrappers that all feature a tear or missing part along the upper (middle) edge. An '84-85 box pictures Clark Gillies and is similar in condition, while 40 wrappers are mostly in the (tear-free) state one would hope for. Steve Yzerman's important rookie card is off-centered but was recently slabbed 7.5 NM+ by KSA, with Doug Gilmour (NM), Cam Neely and Chris Chelios RCs similar. Again, the remainder show very little handling/wear, although more touched corners are spotted in the '84-85 group, but still plenty of NM-MT-or-better entries are to zero-in on. Two cards not present are 283-McKengney and 311-Salming.
