Guarding creases internationally at the World Championships and Winter Olympics for his native Sweden, goaltender Johan Hedberg rose through the ranks with Leksands IF, and made his NHL debut with Pittsburgh in 2000-01. Additional seasons were also spent with Atlanta and New Jersey along with short stints with Dallas and Vancouver. From his lone season in Texas, where he appeared in 19 regular-season games, we have a Stars jersey worn by Hedberg during the 2005-06 regular season and playoffs (Hedberg served as a back-up to Marty Turco during the playoffs). “Goalie Style” and size “58” labels grace the collar, with Reebok and NHL crests over the reverse neckline and bottom hem respectively. Styled with a textured Star team crest with “Dallas” embroidered, “1” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with alternate crests over each shoulder. Just light use is shown, with a few random marks visible along with a team repair on the lower left sleeve. A MeiGray patch numbered “C02661” is affixed to the inside hem that matches the accompanying LOA, and according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a "Burgundy Set 2" specimen.
