A first round draft choice of the now-defunct Hartford Whalers in 1995, Jean-Sebastien Giguere backstopped the Anaheim Mighty Ducks for numerous seasons and holds franchise records for career wins and shutouts. This Mighty Ducks third jersey was worn by the 2003 Conn Smythe winner in the 2005-06 regular season and playoffs. “Goalie Style” and size “60” labels grace the collar, with Reebok and NHL crests over the reverse neckline and bottom hem respectively. Styled with “Anaheim” in white felt over a tackle twill base with “Mighty Ducks” embroidered, “35” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered twill, with matching alternate crests residing on each shoulder. The right sleeve (blocker) has also been custom-shortened. A MeiGray patch numbered “C00284” is affixed to the inside hem that matches the accompanying LOA, and according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a "Third Set 2 / Playoffs" specimen.
Sporting nice game-use with a few marks visible and a small hole over the left sleeve, there is also traces of red paint transfer near the elbow section, with the inside front collar “vented”.
