Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021

Signed as a free agent by the Anaheim Mighty Ducks on August 16, 1993, shortly before the start of the club’s first season in 1993-94, Denny Lambert saw action with the Ducks during their inaugural pre-season, but not during the regular-season. The Ontario native did play in 13 regular-season games the following season, from April 5th to May 3rd 1995. We have an especially desirable Mighty Ducks jersey hailing from the club’s very first set, with use attributed to Lambert during both the 1993-94 pre-season and 1994-95 regular season due to the wear on the jersey. A CCM label and size “54” fly tag are affixed to the collar, with embroidered Nike and NHL crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with the embossed Ducks team crest in use from 1993-2006, the attractive V-neck has been embellished with triple-twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Lambert” sewn to the affixed nameplate in single white twill. Showing great game-use as mentioned, the jersey has frayed threading and pilling around the collar, with board burns and marks over each sleeve. There is also a large team repair on the right sleeve. The Ducks' “Inaugural Season Set 1” patch resides on the inside hem, with a team LOA to accompany.
