Featuring the signatures of athletes of numerous sports including hockey, baseball and football, we offer a collection of signed/multi-signed items totaling 8 and ranging from the 1950s to early-1980s. First, we have a pair of golf score cards signed by the late-1950s Toronto Maple Leafs including Tim Horton (1958-59 or 1959-60), two early-1980s Charlie Conacher Award Dinner menus multi-signed including King Clancy and Harold Ballard, a 1950s Toots Shore menu signed by Bill Dickey, two 1978 University of Miami annual roast programs multi-signed including Don Shula, Yogi Berra and Ann Margaret, and an International League program from the early-1970s for a Winnipeg Whips vs Rochester Red Wings contest multi-signed 7.
The golf score cards are 3 ½” x 5 ½”, with one signed by 19 in ink and pencil including Allan Stanley and Tim Horton both on one side (the Horton covers text), as well as Frank Mahovlich, George Armstrong, Johnny Bower, Bert Olmstead, Carl Brewer, Bill Harris, Barry Cullen, Bobby Baun, Marc Rheaume and others, while the second is signed by 17 again in ink and pencil, including Tim Horton (along the side, pencil signature, displays well), Allan Stanley, Frank Mahovlich, George Armstrong, Johnny Bower, Bert Olmstead, Barry Cullen, Noel Price, Bobby Baun, Carl Brewer, Billy Harris and others. The signatures are bunched up, with toning and minor creasing to the cards. Next, the Conacher menus are 7” x 9 ½”, with one signed by 5 including King Clancy, John Ferguson (2) and two others, while the second is signed by 7 including Harold Ballard and Ontario Premier William Davis, with some minor staining to each program. The Shore menu is 10” x 14” and signed on the cover by Dickey in ballpoint, with a famous image of baseball HOFers on the reverse posed with Shore. The UofM programs include one signed by Yogi Berra on the cover, and one signed by 15 including Don Shula, Elston Howard and Ann Margaret, with wear to the pair. Lastly, the Whips program has been signed by Don Baylor, Gil Blanco, Bobby Grich and a few others. There is wear to the program including staining.
