A fan favourite throughout his considerable time with the Boston Bruins, serving as the club’s most tenured team captain, Ray Bourque transitioned from Beantown to Denver after 21 seasons and spent a pair of seasons with the Ave which included winning a Stanley Cup his final season. This signed stick was used by the iconic blueliner during his time with Colorado in the early-2000s. A Sher-Wood PMPX 9950 model, “Bourque 77” factory graphics appear over the upper shaft, with “Handcrafted Exclusively for Raymond Bourque” on the underside. The stick retains the original white tape over the shaved handle/knob (now yellowing), with the blade tape removed for the placement of Ray’s large silver paint pen signature that displays well. Light game-use is exhibited with the striping accent intact, with some minor tape residue visible on two areas of the shaft.
