Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021

Yes, the high scorers of the era as well as the top netminders who were their victims from time to time are present here but their cards are nowhere near in high grade condition, with the Red Wings joining the Canadiens and Maple Leafs in Parkhurst’s 1960-61 issue. Poor, with multiple creases and/or other major flaws are most of the legends in our title, with a tape stain in the top border (like a few others) additionally affecting a multi-creased Maurice Richard example and a better-displaying Gordie Howe card hampered by glue stains and paper loss on the reverse. Heavily creased/hammered are Sawchuk and Harvey, while best and in the VG neighborhood are four commons and #s 36-Delvecchio, 37-McKenzie RC and 49-Beliveau, with a moisture stain on the back of the latter. Mostly P and F entries, along with half a dozen at G account for the rest, while not accountable are the first (1-Horton) and last (61-Morrison) cards, with 43-Turner and two Canadiens “line” cards (57, 59) also required for completion.
