Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021

The key rookie in Parkhurst’s 1954-55 set, that of Johnny Bower, is present here and accompanied by the big names in our title. A COA from Frameworth, attesting to the authenticity of the Bower signature that graces the front of card #65 is included, with the card itself in Poor condition due to multiple creases and a half-inch tear near Johnny’s blocker. Also P is a multi-creased Gordie Howe card, with similar All-Star style cards of Richard, Sawchuk and Harvey a notch nicer and Horton making it to G. Expect P-F-G cards to account for most of the rest, with a few intermittent VG-or-better examples to come upon. A crease-free Fred Sasakamoose rookie card (G+) is present, as are lower grade RCs of Doug Mohns, Camille Henry and Dean Prentice. We spot just one Lucky Premium Back; 63-Chevrefils...and should mention that only a couple of cards throughout have minor back damage. As with many Parkhurst lots, not all cards are the exact same size, so expect to discover some possibly trimmed examples, with 1-McNeil a definite. Vintage collectibles nonetheless will be fun to sift through.
