Making appearances for six different NHL clubs throughout his injury-shortened professional career, Chris Murray was drafted by Montreal and made his NHL debut for the club in 1993-94. From his time in the nation’s capital, we have an Ottawa Senators jersey worn by Murray in his second of two seasons spent in Ontario, in 1998-99 (Murray was traded to Chicago in March of 1999). A CCM label and size “58” fly tag are affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the lower reverse hem. Styled with a textured team crest that saw use throughout the 1990s, the white V-neck has been accented with “17” over the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with matching alternate crests sewn to each shoulder. The nameplate has also been removed, with “Murray” still visible. Exhibiting light game-use, there are a couple random marks visible, with a few streaks of blue paint transfer situated on the reverse. A COA from the Senators will accompany, and we should note that it erroneously lists the jersey as a 1999-00 specimen.
