Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/30/2021
Especially dominant throughout the 1990s as three-time Memorial Cup champions, we have a pair of Kamloops Blazers jerseys from the era, with an example donned by Corey Hirsch in 1989-90, accompanied by a specimen worn by goaltender Randy Petruck in 1995-96. Matching in style, each jersey sports Maska labels with “54” sizing (the label has been cut from the Petruck jersey) along with tackle twill team crests with “Kamloops” embroidered and “Blazers” appliqued. Tri-colour sleeve and verso numbers have also been utilized, with each player’s name across the sewn nameplate in white, either screened (Hirsch) or heat-pressed (Petruck). The jerseys have most likely had the nameplates restored, with evidence visible of former nameplates. Both jerseys exhibit moderate game-use which includes marks over the front and sleeves, with a large team repair on the lower left sleeve of the Hirsch jersey. There is also some staining on the collar, reverse and right sleeve of the Petruck jersey. Blazers LOAs will accompany for each.
