Capturing a trio of Ed Chynoweth Cups throughout their WHL tenure, the Kamloops Blazers originated as the Estevan Bruins in 1966, and currently play home contests at the Sandman Centre. From the club’s most successful era as three-time Memorial Cup champions in just four seasons during the early-to-mid-1990s, we have a pair of Blazers jerseys from 1992-93, with examples worn by Scott Ferguson and Ryan Huska. Featuring Maska labels and fly tags affixed to each collar (Ferguson size 54, Huska size 52), CCM and CHL crests reside on each reverse hem. Styled with tackle twill team crests with “Kamloops” embroidered and “Blazers” appliqued, the V-neck sweaters have been accented with tri-colour sleeve and verso numbers, with intact fight straps. Each also sports the Memorial Cup 75th anniversary crest over the right breast. The Ferguson jersey most likely had the nameplate restored, and shows heavy wear throughout including marks, scrapes, burns and numerous team repairs, with examples present on each lower sleeve. The Huska sports a bit lighter game-use, with marks present along with just a few small repairs. A team LOA will accompany the Huska jersey.
