Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021

Enjoyed but not abused these 1969-70 O-Pee-Chee's have been, with numerous aspects to report. A survey of the 9-pocket pages/binder, along with random pulls and keys/stars indicate that VG, VG+ and VG-EX examples account for most, with some EX as well as lesser lights also present. The Tony Esposito rookie card (G+) has peripheral wear but no creases, with Serge Savard's RC similar but with a little scuff/color loss on the reverse. Six have stamp inserts affixed to their backs, including Orr, Howe and Phil Esposito (all otherwise VG), with five others accompanied by loose stamps, the latter having been once pasted, but not on the cards present, if you follow. Hull (VG+) and Parent (VG-EX) are among them. The Orr 212-All-Star (VG+) and 209-Norris Trophy (VG-EX+, but with a diamond cut) cards and Gordie Howe's Mr. Hockey card (no number)(VG) are notable, as is the last card; 231-The Stanley Cup is among the condition leaders at EX+. The two checklists are crease-free but marked, with tape stains on the reverse of #31-2nd Series, while it's the error version (with "214" on the back) that represents Espo's Art Ross/Hart Trophy card. There you have it - you'll have some fun flipping through these.
