Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021

Beginning with the EHL during the early-1960s, Ted McCaskill skated in a number of leagues throughout his career including the NHL with the Minnesota North Stars during their inaugural season of 1967-68 (four games), with later time also spent in the WHL with Vancover and Phoenix, and the WHA with Los Angeles (1972-73 and 1973-74). Hailing from his personal collection, we have vintage clothing from his hockey travels totaling four items including an Indianapolis Racers track suit (both top and pants) and windbreaker from circa-1975, a Minnesota Fighting Saints windbreaker from circa-1974, and a Phoenix Roadrunners (WHL) windbreaker from circa 1970-71. A Brad Selwood 1974 Summit Series game-issued stick will also accompany.
The Roadrunners and Saints windbreakers both feature screened logos over the left breast, with the Roadrunners zipper operational and the Saints buttons all in place (most have the paint worn away). The Racers windbreaker has a label from Ebert with “XL” sizing, with a tackle twill team crest sewn to the left breast, with light overall wear to all three windbreakers. The track suit top sports a tackle twill team crest and “28” over the left sleeve in matching material, with light overall wear including to the track pants which also have “28” affixed along with a Rawlings label. The stick sports CCM and 1974 Canada-Russia series graphics with “Selwood” stamped and somewhat faded over the upper shaft. The stick shows moderate age and storage wear, with the original striping accent intact. We should further note that the dates listed with each item are according to our consignor.
