The NHL’s all-time leading scorer upon his retirement in 1960, Maurice Richard scored 544 career goals for the Montreal Canadiens, and we offer a collection of Rocket items totaling eight, highlighted by a signed newsprint framed display celebrating his 325th, 498th, 499th and 500th career goals. Included, we have a circa-1980s Jofa stick with inverted black marker signature near the toe section of the blade, a vintage 8” x 10” photo signed in ballpoint and framed to 12” x 15”, a framed reproduction of Richard’s first NHL contract (11 ½” x 19 ½”), two images taken from vintage calendars with each framed (15” x 17 ½”), a Richard/Sugar Jim Henry display with plaque and Habs logo (16” x 20”) and a pair of heavily worn Daoust Maurice Richard skates in their original box with small framed advertisement (7” x 11 ½”). The multi-goal display includes a trio of newsprint images double-matted, with Richard signing on the far left in black ink, framed to just under 23” x 40”. A JSA sticker numbered “T20285” is affixed to the stick, with a matching COA to accompany.
