Originally displayed at the International Hockey Hall of Fame – now the Original Hockey Hall of Fame – located in historic Kingston, Ontario, this unique group of displays all feature New York Islanders and Edmonton Oilers Stanley Cup championship squads and totals 23, with additional examples for the 1974 Philadelphia Flyers, 1989 Calgary Flames and 1991 & 1992 Pittsburgh Penguins (27 total in the lot). Varying in size from approx 8” x 10” to 10” x 11”, the majority feature a photo affixed to a cardboard or sytrofoam backing, with the players listed beneath. There is some duplication, with some dual-examples featuring thin glossy images. There are 12 Islanders examples, including for 1980 (3), 1981 (3), 1982 (3) and 1983 (3), while the Oilers displays total 11 and include 1984 (3), 1985 (3), 1987 (3), 1988 (1) and 1990 (1). The majority of the displays present beautifully and show wear commensurate with their age and former use, with a number sporting dinged corners, surface wear and the odd stain or blemish. A number also have velcro or tape over the reverse.
