Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2021
A standout in the KHL with his hometown CSKA Moscow squad, defenceman Nikita Zaitsev made his NHL debut for Toronto in 2016-17 and spent three seasons with the club before being traded to the province-rival Ottawa Senators, on July 1, 2019. Acquired directly from the Maple Leafs, we have a jersey worn by the Russian star in 2017-18, his second of three seasons in Ontario. “58” sizing appears along the Adidas collar band, with NHL and Adidas crests on the front and reverse necklines respectively. Featuring a vintage style Leafs team crest with embroidered detailing, “22” appears over the sleeves and verso in single navy twill on the Set 3 garment, with “Zaitsev” across the sewn nameplate in matching material. Sporting nice game-use, there are random dark marks over the front and sleeves, with a few large tam repairs placed just above each cuff. The team patch numbered “H-0314” is affixed to the inside hem, with a matching COA to accompany from the Leafs.
