Extremely well crafted and an entire collection onto itself, this large group of Tintin vehicles were produced by Atlas from 2001 to 2007 and totals 61, with each issued in a plastic display case and box (6” x 2 ¾” x 2 ¾”). All die-cast 1/43 scale models, included are 41 automobiles, 16 trucks and heavy-duty vehicles and 4 dual-vehicles. The automobiles include 1935 Graham Six, 1949 Ford Custom, 1947 Studebaker De Luxe Coupe, Jaguar Mark I, 1954 Panhard Dyna 2, 1948 Morris Six, 1926 Bugatti Type 37 Sport, 1960 Alfa Romeo, 1962 Jaguar MkX, 1929 Checker Taxi, 1937 Ford V8, 1924 Mercedes 15/70, 1931 Chrysler Six and others. The trucks and heavy-duty vehicles include a 1930 International, 1950 VW Combi, Land Rover 109 SW, 1950 Willys Jeep Station Wagon, 1936 Chevrolet pick up and others. The four dual-vehicles include 1958 Eldorado, 1962 Eccles GT 305 with camper, 1938 “Luxor” tow truck with car and 1955 Chrysler New Yorker with helicopter.
The die-cast models all appear to be in gorgeous new condition, with just very light wear to the plastic display cases and boxes. Only one box shows more moderate wear, with a piece of clear tape added to the box top.

Following the exploits of youthful Belgian reporter and adventurer Tintin and his trusty canine companion Snowy, well-structured plots encompassing numerous themes enthralled readers, with both satire and cultural commentary exploited by creator Herge (Georges Remi). This collection of Tintin items includes a number of desirable keepsakes and collectibles, all of which feature the French language.
