Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2021

Eight cards and a stick of gum continued to be the norm for O-Pee-Chee in 1975-76, with no inserts in their NHL and WHA issues for the second straight season. The NHL pack here received a NM-MT 8 verdict from Global Authentication Inc. upon inspection and brings forth the story that for the second consecutive year, 396 cards comprised the NHL set. Possibly/likely with more appeal is a '75-76 WHA pack, with cards and packs from that season being the toughest/most valuable of the four WHA issues. Mark Howe's rookie card and the presence of dad Gordie, Bobby Hull and Jacques Plante are most notable in the 132-card effort. The pack here, graded NM+ 7.5, has a visible diagonal top-to-bottom wrinkle worth mentioning. Fine contributors to our consignor's marvelous "That '70s Show" are ready to contribute to your stash.
