Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2021
A veteran of almost a dozen NHL seasons and currently a member of Genève-Servette HC in Switzerland, Daniel Winnik has dressed for eight different NHL clubs, including Washington, Pittsburgh, Colorado and Toronto. From his second of two seasons in Toronto and acquired directly from the Leafs, this jersey was worn by Winnik in the Hockey Hall of Fame Game, held on Nov 6, 2015, vs Detroit, where he registered almost 16 minutes of ice time. A size “56” label is sewn to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with the club’s familiar Leafs team crest with embroidered detailing, “26” appears over the sleeves and verso in single white twill, with matching vintage-style alternate crests over each shoulder. The Hall of Fame Game patch resides over the right breast, with a price tag from the Leafs team store still attached to the collar. Worn for a single contest, the jersey exhibits light wear with no obtrusive marks. The team patch numbered “F-0188” is affixed to the inside hem, with a matching COA to accompany from the Leafs.
