"Fascinating" is the word that comes to mind with this 1971-72 O-Pee-Chee 1st Series pack, with the fascination that this writer had upon opening his very first pack of the '71-72 hockey card collecting season unforgettable. It wasn't only that the very first card on top (of eight in the pack) was that of the '71 Stanley Cup playoff hero, but that Ken Dryden was pictured wearing his mask - wow! The decision to spend the lone dime in his pocket not on a soft drink after playing on the outdoor neighborhood rink but on the "new" cards just out is a card-collecting highlight some five decades later. The Dryden RC, the famous #111 checklist and cards of Orr, Hull, Clarke, Perreault and Tony O highlight the 1st Series, again a 132-card affair with a team crest insert in each pack accompanying the cards and gum. Encapsulated and graded NM+ 7.5 by GAI, this inviting pack will fascinate you upon its delivery.
No notable unsightly flaws (scratches, cracks) to the GAI holder are to report.
