Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2021
Currently the oldest player in the NHL, with no signs of his game slowing down, Zdeno Chara was drafted by Ottawa and spent numerous seasons with the club, but is best known as the anchor and captain of the Boston Bruins. The especially tall blueliner captured the James Norris in 2009 followed by the Stanley Cup, in 2011. We offer a pair of gorgeous display items signed by the Slovak star including an oversized canvas along with a 16” x 20” photo. At approx 30” x 39 ½”, the stretched canvas depicts Chara in black and white, with a large silver paint pen signature placed over the left side of his image. There is a very slight rub to the beginning of the signature, with the canvas flawless. The 16” x 20” photo pictures Chara hoisting Lord Stanley’s trophy, signed across the Cup in blue sharpie. Holograms have been added to each item, with COAs to accompany.
