Some nice encapsulated 1963 CFL cards and close to two dozen intact panels from '62 here may entice Canadian gridiron fans/collectors. An 8.5 NMM+ Don Getty card leads the KSA-slabbed lineup, while at 8 NMM are Bernie Faloney and team cards of the Eskimos, Tiger-Cats and Blue Bombers. Half a dozen 7.5 NM+ entries include #s 17-Keeling, 31-Patterson and 51-Stewart, while stars Coffee, Ploen and Shatto headline the other graded representatives. The '62 panels meanwhile feature Ron Lancaster and Angelo Mosca together on one (EX (MC)(ST)), with Russ Jackson, Shatto, Gray, Rigney and some team cards also notable. The raw '63s are mostly EX-or-better and include Parker, Kapp, Henley, Barrow and Tucker RC, with more details/images on our website.
Not already mentioned among the graded cards are three 7.5 NM+s; 5-Bailey, 49-Alouettes Team and 72-Exelby, with 21-Coffee, 67-Saskatchewan Team and 77-Toronto Team at 7 NM. Shatto, 15-Luzzi and 58-Ottawa Team are labelled 6.5 ENM+, with 79-Ploen at 6 ENM and a duplicate of 24-Getty a swell 8 NMM bonus. Missing numbers to complete the '63 set are 1-Fleming, 2, 8, 10-Lions Team, 14, 16, 28, 38, 40-Dixon, 41, 45, 50-Jackson, 52, 55, 59, 65, 73, 75, 76, 78-Lewis and 84-Rigney. A checklist is present but is fully filled-in, although it's crease-free. There are then two (marked) checklists among the extras, with duplication present and two each of stars Getty, Stewart, Ploen and Shatto, with creases again minimal and EX-or-better cards the norm. .....Now then, as for the '62 panels, we spot a few with subtle light bends (the Russ Jackson card looks to be affected by a moisture stain in the upper left corner) but overall, they're attractive and average EX or a tad better, with a little duplication and a few miscut examples to mention. Included are #s 4-5, 5-6, 16-97 (2), 24-105, 32-113-Ottawa Check List, 32-120 (2), 40-128, 94-Alouettes Check List - 95, 115-116, 118-119, 129-130-Sask. Check List (2)(one with some type of substance staining the front), 131-132, 139-140, 145-Shatto - 146, 149-150, 153-154, 165-166 and 167-168. Observed are six cards with wax stains on the back, including the Lancaster-Mosca duo. Two separated cards are 4-Burton and 5-Cacic. All sorts of fun/options with these classic collectibles. *It should be noted that the KSA holders have been well cared for, arriving to us in individual protective graded card sleeves.
