Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2021
Three sports contribute here, with Parkhurst hockey card albums from the 1950s including nine and five slotted cardboard pages respectively and one superior to the other but both with pen marks/writing on the front. Diamond Match matchbook covers from the ‘30s include five Philadelphia Eagles players and three Chicago Bears, while Canadian Football League players are pictured on over (40) 1965 Coca-Cola caps featuring the French “Buvez Coke” and led by stars Jackie Parker (scratches), Russ Jackson, George Reed and Willie Fleming and in rather attractive collectible condition. Half a dozen Nalley’s CFL coins and three ’62 Salada NFL coins are also in the mix but with no noteworthy stars. Baseball goodies include three old figurines and three mini plastic bats, while a 1-3/4” Roger Maris pinback is accompanied by half a dozen older team logo pins and a dozen (later) lapel pins, with a few Montreal Expos pinbacks also notable. Back to hockey for a moment to mention a ’65-66 Coke card album (G) and a 1980s McDonald’s sticker album (VG), both of them empty. There are some two-card Kraft card panels and then mostly modern baseball cards/items complete. A couple of Ted Williams card sets and dozens of “pogs”, Donruss puzzles, a dozen unopened Donruss packs, miscellaneous little sets and a few other pieces might wield pleasant surprises.
