Two of the Montreal Canadiens most prominent stars during the 2010s, Alex Galchenyuk spent six seasons with the Habs from 2012 to 2018, while P.K. Subban saw action in Quebec from 2009 to 2016. This lot offers a pair of signed and game-used sticks from the duo. First, the Galchenyuk is a Bauer Supreme 1S model, with Alex using this model of stick from approx 2015-16 to 2017-18. “Galchenyuk” factory graphics appear over the upper shaft, with the original white tape on the blade and spiral pattern over the handle with “27” handwritten. The stick shows nice use with wear to the underside of the blade, marks to the shaft and red paint transfer over the taped handle. Galchenyuk has signed on the front side heel in silver. The Subban is an Easton S19 model, with P.K. using this model of stick from approx 2011-12 until his trade to Nashville in 2016. “Subban” and “76” factory graphics appear over the upper shaft, with the original black tape on the blade and blue cloth wrap on the handle. The stick shows light to moderate use with Subban adding a large silver paint pen signature across the front side blade. Hailing from the personal collection of a Montreal Canadiens/Chicago Black Hawks executive, a Classic Auctions LOA will accompany.
