This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2021
Participating in two matches with Team Canada at the 1972 Summit Series, Wayne Cashman would net a pair of assists against the Soviets along with 14 penalty minutes. This rare souvenir 1972 Canada-Russia series paperweight and gold-plated cufflink set were originally presented to Wayne Cashman and originate from his personal collection. At approx 4” in diameter, a gold coloured hockey player sits encased in 1” thick lucite, with “Team Canada “1972” over the base. Sporting light wear throughout including a few minor scratches and blemishes, the paperweight displays beautifully. The cufflinks are approx 1” x 1” and feature a textured surface with mounted Hockey Canada player, with “Team Equipe Canada” in raised letters beneath. A signed LOA from Wayne Cashman will accompany.
