Ready to add some style to your favourite wall, this collection of four attractive framed lithographs, artwork and a single print all hail from the personal collection of Hall of Fame superstar Luc Robitaille. Included, we have a limited-edition litho of Robitaille with Team Canada done in 1994 by Barry Oretsky, with “Canada Gold” at the base and “20/250” over the bottom left. This is followed by a litho entitled "Above Hawkesville" by Ken Darby, with the limited-edition number of “93/1500” added to the bottom left, with the Ottawa Senators team-signing the reverse, with the display given to Robitaille for his 1,000th NHL game. Rounding out the lot, we have a “Luc” print by Michael Fischer from 2006 and original artwork on canvas executed by Sophie Moison in 2009. A signed LOA from Luc Robitaille will accompany these personal items.
The Oretsky litho is approx 17” x 23” (exposed), double-matted and framed to 23 ½” x 29”, with heavy wear to the frame and glass. The "Above Hawkesville" litho is approx 19” x 30” (exposed), double-matted and framed to 30” x 41”, with heavy wear to the frame and glass. Approx 28 Senators have signed the reverse in black marker, including Reddon, Alfredsson, Hossa and others. The artwork by Moison is canvas stretched over a 24” x 24” wooden frame, with the artist signing the reverse. Lastly, the Fischer print is 11” x 15”, matted and framed to 15” x 19”.
A portion of the sales from the Luc Robitaille personal collection will benefit the Echoes of Hope Foundation. Founded in 2007 by Stacia and Luc Robitaille, Echoes of Hope strives to awaken the spirit of hope in the lives of children, youth, and young adults in need by alleviating barriers and helping them reach their full potential.
