Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020

An admirable rendition of Hall of Fame d-man Harry Howell, on cardboard preserved in near perfect condition will render lovers of high grade Parkies enthusiastic about the opportunity to score the encapsulated beauty. The Hamilton native had played his first of 24(!) big league seasons (17 as a Ranger) when he was featured on card #57 in Parkhurst’s first “giant” card issue. Of the 221 Howell rookie cards examined by PSA in company history, this Pop 33 has been edged by only six MINT 9s and two NM-MT+ 8.5s, with a pair with qualifiers in both the “8” and “9” columns also noteworthy. We’d say perfect centering, or very close to it, and perfect for your high grade Parkie/RC slabbed stash.
