Featuring a trio of historic diamond moments, this lot offers three signed photos, including a framed example signed by Ted Williams picturing the iconic slugger hitting his final career home run at his final at bat in 1960, a framed photo dual-signed by Bobby Thompson and Ralph Branca celebrating the “Shot Heard ‘Round the World” that won the 1951 NL pennant, and a photo of Willie Mays famous over-the-shoulder catch during the 1954 World Series signed by the HOFer. The black and white Williams photo is 16” x 20” and pictures Teddy Ballgame in full swing, with Williams adding a blue marker signature over the bottom left, with a bit of fading taking place, matted and framed to 20” x 24”. A Williams “9” hologram numbered “005002” has been added over the bottom right, with a COA affixed to the reverse of the frame from Green Diamond Sports. The Thompson/Branca photo is also 16” x 20”, with the Giants celebrating, with each signing in blue marker, with Branca adding “The Shot Heard ‘Round the World” (there is some minor fading). Double-matted and framed to approx 23” x 26”, a plaque listing the particulars has been inserted beneath, with MLB and Steiner holograms affixed, with a Steiner COA to accompany. Lastly, the Mays photo is 16” x 20” and pictures the famous catch, with Mays adding a blue marker signature that displays well. A Say Hey hologram has been placed over an MLB hologram on the bottom right.
