While fondly remembered for his time with the Edmonton Oilers which included epic performances during the postseason, Grant Fuhr guarded the creases of six different NHL clubs throughout his career, including Buffalo and Calgary. This lot includes a signed stick used by the HOFer during his final NHL season in Calgary in 1999-00, accompanied by a pro stock Sabres Fuhr jersey. The stick is a Franklin 8000 Graphite model with “Fuhr” factory graphics, with the original white tape over the blade and knob. Great use is shown on the lumber, with puck marks and tears to the blade tape, with heavy chipping along the top edge of the blade. The mid-1990s jersey sports CCM labeling with handwritten “58” sizing, with a tackle twill team crest and numbers, with “Fuhr” across the affixed nameplate in single gold twill. Hailing from the personal collection of an important hockey executive, his signed LOA will accompany.
