This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/1/2022
Originally drafted 1st overall by the Minnesota North Stars in 1988, Mike Modano would stay with the franchise for two decades which included leading Dallas to their first Stanley Cup win in 1999. A seven-time All-Star, Modano would conclude his career in Detroit. This signed Easton Synergy stick was used by Modano in the early-2000s, with this specific type of model employed from approx 2001 to 2004. An Easton Synergy model with “9 Modano” factory graphics over the upper shaft, the original black ribbed tape pattern remains on the handle, with the tape removed from the blade to allow space for Modano to add a large and attractive silver paint pen signature that covers the entire length of the frontside blade. Great game-use is exhibited to the blade and shaft with numerous marks and abrasions visible along with small areas of both red and blue paint transfer. Hailing from the personal collection of an important hockey executive, his signed LOA will accompany.
