Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020

Oh, didn’t kids think that the kind of flashbulbs were neat in the background of 1970-71 O-Pee-Chee cards, with a captivating 1st Series uncut sheet here also featuring the swell array of background colors. A side-to-side crease affects the Gilbert Perreault RC card in the top row (along with an edge tear that descends into the card), while a tear in the third row is through the middle of the first three cards. A two-inch tear further down (Dornhoefer card) and a noticeable crease through Bobby Orr’s face are to note. We spot a crease-free Wayne Cashman RC, with a light crease or subtle creases in the Brad Park RC and two checklists. HOFers include Howe, Beliveau, Horton, Hull, Mikita, Esposito, Cheevers, Parent and still more, with the card “backs” printed on the reverse. A Brit Selby card has the “traded” notation, with first-year Canucks (9) and Sabres (10) cards also present. Awesome 28-1/4” by 43” display awaits its new home.
