Building a superstar line-up that would dominate the decade, the Montreal Canadiens were especially successful throughout the 1970s, winning a quartet of consecutive Stanley Cup championships. This lot contains a great grouping of Habs team-issued photos totaling 214 and ranging from the 1970s to early-1990s, with the majority hailing from the 1970s. All glossy black and white prints in the 8” x 10” range, included, we have 26 photos from 1970-71 including Jean Beliveau (final NHL season), with the John Ferguson photo signed and personalized. This is followed by 31 photos from 1971-72 including Ken Dryden (2, rookie season), 11 photos from 1972-73, 2 photos from 1973-74, 40 photos from 1974-75, 27 photos from 1975-76, 17 photos from 1976-77 and another 6 photos from the late-1970s… and more!
Rounding out the lot, we have 27 photos from 1983-84, 5 photos from 1985-86, 6 photos from 1988-89 and 6 from 1991-92. The majority of the photos display well with light handling wear along with the odd crease or corner ding. A pair of original Canadiens envelopes will accompany.
