Celebrating Montreal’s cherished Expos baseball club, we offer a few historic items from the club’s genesis including a desirable inaugural program produced for the first MLB game ever played outside the US, on April 14, 1969 vs the Cardinals, signed on the cover by six, accompanied by a first-season 1969 yearbook, 1969 Expos Advanced Schedule brochure, and 1969 Expos "Major League Baseball is here" brochure. First, the inaugural game program is 6 ½” x 10”, with the visitor listed on the cover, with the scorecard section filled-in. The program is complete and shows light to moderate wear, with six signing the cover in blue ballpoint including Lou Brock, Joe Torre, Julian Javier, Dal Maxvill and two others. The first-season yearbook is 8 ½” x 11” and features Larry Jaster on the cover, with just light wear throughout as well as a crease along the top right that runs completely through the publication. Both brochures show just light handling wear with no issues (the "Major League Baseball is here" brochure folds-out into an 18” x 20” map of Jarry Park.
