A two-time James Norris winner, Erik Karlsson was drafted 15th overall by Ottawa in 2008, and spent nine seasons with the club before being dealt to San Jose in 2018. Originating from the Daniel Alfredsson Retirement Night, on Dec 29, 2016, this Senators’ captain’s jersey was worn by the superstar Swede specifically during the first period. A label with “56” sizing is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with a textured Sens team crest with embroidered detailing, “65” appears over the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with the Daniel Alfredsson Retirement crest over the right breast. Each cuff has also been turned-in and shortened. The team patch resides on the fight strap, with a COA from the Senators to accompany.
Worn for just a single period, the garment exhibits light expected wear, with a few faint marks over the lower left sleeve.
