An NHL mainstay for 14 seasons which included stints with six different clubs, Stephane Quintal was the final player to wear the #5 jersey for the Montreal Canadiens before the club retired the number in honour of Boom Boom Geoffrion. This lot includes a signed Habs jersey worn by Quintal during the early-2000s, circa 2001-02, along with a second Habs jersey that has been team-signed by the 1998-99 Canadiens. First, the Quintal jersey has “58” sizing along the collar, with KOHO and NHL crests over the reverse neckline and bottom hem along with a tackle twill team crest and numbers. Exhibiting nice game-use with marks over the sleeves and board burns with resulting holes over each shoulder, Quintal has signed the reverse number in black marker, with a bit of bleeding to the signature. The signed jersey sports a Starter label along the collar with “XL” sizing, with 25 signing the front and team crest in black marker including Quintal, along with Turner Stevenson, Benoit Brunet, Vincent Damphousse, Brian Savage, Igor Ulanov, Craig Rivet, Patrice Brisebois, Frederic Chabot, Sergei Zholtok, Scott Lachance and others.
