Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/20/2020
Witnessing each and every home game of the Quebec Nordiques from the beginning of the WHA in 1972-73, until the club’s final NHL season before relocating to Colorado in 1995, the Quebec Coliseum – or more precisely - le Colisée de Québec, was built after the second World War and closed in 2015. This seat hails from the noteworthy venue. Similar in style and construction to examples from the Montreal Forum, the solid red wood and metal seat is approx 36” in height, with “12” stenciled in white over the upper seat back. Originally an isle seat, the right side has a large “F” stenciled, with an extension on the opposite side to facilitate installment. A pair of black metal legs has been added to allow free-standing, with the seat exhibiting expected wear to the paint and surface throughout.
