Yes, a large accumulation here includes the three important rookie cards from O-Pee-Chee’s 1971-72 issue, with Ken Dryden and Marcel Dionne RCs affected by staining in the lower left corner region and otherwise VG+ and G+ respectively, while that of Guy Lafleur is a VG contributor with no creasing in the young star’s image. A couple of rather beat up oldies are notable; a Johnny Bucyk ’57-58 Topps rookie (F-G) and a Gordie Howe (P) card from the same year, with a second-year Bucyk better at VG. O-Pee-Chee Bobby Orr cards are from ’69-70 (VG+) and ’71-72 (2)(VG+, G), with second-year Clarke and Perreault cards, two Phil Espositos and a few other stars from ’71-72 also showing handling/wear. Then it’s stacks of cards (with totals approximate) (mostly commons but with a little semi-star and minor star action) from ’72-73 (150)(no WHA), ’73-74 (150), ’75-76 (200), ’76-77 (200+), ’77-78 (50), ’78-79 (300), ’79-80 (400+), ’81-82 (300+), ’82-83 (100+), ’83-84 (75), ’84-85 (100), ’85-86 (40), ’87-88 (300+) and ’88-89 (200). Lower grade for the first couple of years and then condition improving in the late-‘70s and then again in the ‘80s, with duplication observed in the larger groups. A little baseball card action is present, with a 1960 Mickey Mantle #564 All-Star card (VG-EX) and an ’89 Upper Deck Ken Griffey Jr. RC (EX+) standing out. A half-full 3200-count box of early-1990s and up basketball, baseball and hockey cards may yield a few fun surprises, as will some older non-sport representatives, much of them from England, including over three dozen 1964 Outer Limits cards and a dozen 1966 Tarzan cards. The high bidder will also discover cards depicting The Thunderbirds, 1967 soccer players, Batman and Robin, Man from U.N.C.LE., You’ll Die Laughing and still more, many of them smaller versions issued by ABC Chewing Gum, with over a dozen Topps Batman cards also present. Non-sport condition is not great but the cards will add to your fun.
