Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/20/2020
Instrumental in the Black Hawks' 1960-61 Stanley Cup season were Glenn Hall and Pierre Pilote, with each signing their respective '57-58 Topps rookie cards here and adding their (same) "75" Hall of Fame induction year. Beauty penmanship is to report, with the Hall card affected by warping/waves and minor color loss, while the Pilote entry is off-centered but otherwise EX-MT. A Bill Gadsby '51-52 Parkhurst rookie had previously been graded EX-MT 6, with the PSA label to be included, while Fred Hucul (EX-MT) and Bep Guidolin (EX) are also attractive '51-52 Parkies. The Hucul is also autographed on the back and dated "Dec 16 2008." Completing are sharp (EX-MT to NM) signed '52-53 rookie cards of Pete Conacher and Enio Sclisizzi, also with first-rate autographs. Please visit our website for autograph provenance details.
It should be noted that the Conacher RC measures markedly narrower than the Sclisizzi rookie, with the Conacher and Hall cards accompanied by Certificates of Authenticity from A.J. Sports World, while Hammertime Sports Card autograph tickets are with the Pilote and Gadsby cards. Chicago Stadium patrons adored some of these players - you'll enjoy their autographed cards when they're delivered.
