Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020

The leaders of the Canadiens' dynasty of the 1970s got their cardboard start in 1971-72 and lead that season's O-Pee-Chee issue, with the Guy Lafleur rookie card here slabbed EX-MT 6 and that of Ken Dryden also recently inspected by PSA, earning NM 7 recognition. A checklist (#264-2nd Series)(NM-MT 8 (OC)) also contributes, while the raw lineup is somewhat underwhelming comparatively. Very little is above EX and a minority reach that mark, with G to VG+ dominating. A Dionne RC (VG), three Orrs (#245-Norris/Hart is VG, the others G), the 111-Checklist (F with three darkened boxes) and a duplicate Lafleur RC (Poor) are noteworthy, with the Gordie Howe special highlighting the stars at EX. A dozen real low grade fillers are also present in the pieced-together ensemble, with Guy and Ken the definite allure.
