A Stanley Cup champion with the Montreal Canadiens in 1986, Chris Nilan spent the majority of his career in Quebec, with additional seasons with Boston and the Rangers. The especially tough Bostonian would register over 3,000 career penalty minutes. This stick was used by Knuckles during his time with the Habs in the mid-1980s. A Sher-Wood PMP 7000 Feather-Balanced model with “Nilan” and “30” stamped to the upper shaft, the original black tape remains on the blade and knob. There is some factory coding along the lower shaft, with the stick exhibiting great overall use with heavy wear to the blade including rips to the tape, and a few marks, chips and abrasions to the shaft. Originating from the personal collection of Hall of Fame superstar Bob Gainey, his signed LOA will accompany.
