Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2020
Blessed with some of the best netminders to ever guard a crease including Georges Vezina, Jacques Plante and Ken Dryden, we have a collection of pucks totaling 9, with each signed by a goaltender that has represented la sainte flanelle (one is dual-signed). Highlighted by an example signed by deceased HOF legend Gump Worsley, we have pucks signed by Charlie Hodge, Cayden Primeau (1st NHL game inscription), Denis Heron and Richard Sevigny together (81’ Vezina inscription), Dustin Tokarsky (Team Canada World Junior puck), Brian Hayward, Jocelyn Thibault, Mike Condon and Denis Dejordy. Each puck feature’s a Canadiens logo (one is a Team Canada puck), with all signatures scripted in silver (except one), with the majority adding their number. The signatures all display well with no issues (the Worsley is somewhat small), with just light handling wear to the pucks themselves. We should also note that each puck has a hologram affixed to the reverse except the Worsley. An LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
