Registering his third highest career points total with 107 scored in just 80 games in 1991-92, Luc Robitaille would be chosen to play in the 1992 NHL All-Star Game, and would contribute a trio of assists in a 10-6 Campbell Conference victory. Hailing from his fifth consecutive selection in 1991-92, we have a Campbell Conference All-Star Game jersey worn by the superstar. A 1947 “throwback” style jersey, a Maska Ultrafil label with affixed production date sticker (12/91) graces the collar along with a size “52” fly tag, with embroidered NHL and CCM crests over the back bottom hem. Styled with a beautiful tackle twill NHL shield crest in red and white, 5 tackle twill stars have been affixed arching over the upper chest, with “20” on verso in matching material along with the NHL 75th anniversary crest over the right breast. A signed LOA from Luc Robitaille will accompany this desirable All-Star garment that honoured the very first official All-Star Game.
Worn for just a single contest, the jersey exhibits very light wear, with a few dark marks visible on the lower left sleeve, with the fight strap showing evidence of being washed.
A portion of the sales from the Luc Robitaille personal collection will benefit the Echoes of Hope Foundation. Founded in 2007 by Stacia and Luc Robitaille, Echoes of Hope strives to awaken the spirit of hope in the lives of children, youth, and young adults in need by alleviating barriers and helping them reach their full potential.
