A large 6’4” defenceman from Alberta, Matthew Robertson was drafted in the second round of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Rangers, selected 49th overall. Called-up while underage, Robertson would see seven games of WHL action with the Edmonton Oil Kings in 2016-17, including two games wearing this very jersey. CCM and Elite labels grace the collar along with a size “56” tag, with a CHL crest over the reverse hem. Styled with an attractive tackle twill team crest with embroidered detailing, “22” appears over the sleeves and verso, with the Rogers Place inaugural season crest over the right shoulder. Exhibiting light wear with a few stains over the right cuff, the team patch denoting the garment as a “2016-17 Season” example resides on the inside hem.
