Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/20/2020
Spending numerous seasons with Allmänna Idrottsklubben Ishockeyförening (AIK) in the SEL, Ulf Iasaksson was drafted 95th overall by Los Angeles in 1982, and spent the 1982-83 season with the club before moving on to the AHL and New Haven. From his lone season in California and fit for royalty, we have a Kings jersey worn by the Swede during the 1982-83 NHL season, where he appeared in 50 games. A partially-detached Maska label remains affixed to the collar along with a laundering tag with “50” sizing, with an embroidered Maska label over the reverse hem. Styled with the classic Kings’ embroidered crown team crest, the vintage purple V-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Isaksson” across the affixed nameplate in single gold twill.
Exhibiting light game use, there is a large scuff mark that runs beneath the team crest, with a few marks over each sleeve. There is also a blood stain over the lower reverse band and a small team repair near the left cuff.
