Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/20/2020
A Winnipeg Jets draft selection in 1992, Ivan Vologjaninov spent time in the WHL with both Lethbridge and Kamloops before moving on to Jacksonville in the ECHL. This Lethbridge Hurricanes jersey was worn by the Kiev native in the early-1990s, in either 1992-93 or 1993-94. Similar in style to the Washington Capitals jerseys of the era, a Maska Ultrafil label and size “54” fly tag are affixed to the collar, with CCM and CHL crests over the reverse hem. Styled with a tackle twill team crest with embroidered detailing, “13” appears over the sleeves and verso in matching material, with affixed stars placed over the upper chest and sleeves. Great game use is exhibited on the garment, with numerous marks throughout along with heavy wear to the material including scuffs, scrapes, small holes and pilling. There are also team repairs, with three examples over the sleeves. We should also note that the jersey shows evidence of a former nameplate that has been removed.
