Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020

Dressing for four different clubs throughout his lengthy NHL stay including Edmonton and Anaheim, Todd Marchant also represented the US internationally, with a Stanley Cup championship won with the Ducks in 2007. From just his second full season in Edmonton, we have an Oilers jersey worn by the Buffalo native in 1996-97. An RMC Sports label is affixed to the collar along with a sewn-down “54” size tag, with CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the classic oil drop team crest with textured detailing, “26” appears over the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. Exhibiting nice game use with numerous stick marks over the front and team crest, there are additional marks over the sleeves including a small hole resulting from a board burn near the right elbow. There are also team repairs, with examples over the front (2), reverse (2) and left sleeve (1). The team patch denoting the garment as a “Set #1” example resides on the inside hem, with an LOA from the Oilers to accompany along with a COR from MeiGray.
