Representing Team Canada twice at the World Junior Championships, Nolan Baumgartner won consecutive Memorial Cup championships with the Kamloops Blazers before making his NHL debut with the Washington Capitals, in 1995-96. This Blazers jersey was worn by the Calgary native in 1994-95. A Maska Ultrafil label and size “56” fly tag are affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and CHL crests over the reverse hem. Styled with a layered tackle twill team crest, “5” appears over the sleeves and verso in matching material, with “Baumgartner” screened over the affixed nameplate. The jersey shows heavy game use, with dark marks littered throughout, with some paint transfer over the reverse number and sleeves. There are also team repairs, with examples over the front (1), reverse (5) and sleeves (10). We should also note that according to our consignor, the jersey was worn in the 1995 Memorial Cup tournament.
