Joining those past legends that made their mark on the game, just a mere 15 jersey numbers have been retired by the Montreal Canadiens over the past century, with only those paramount players achieving status as one of the game’s all-time greatest honoured as such. Sharing the rafters of the Bell Center with iconic Habs’ Howie Morenz, Maurice Richard and Georges Vezina, Henri Richard and Yvan Cournoyer were both honoured for their tremendous careers, and we offer a pair of retirement banner replicas individually signed by the legendary Habs. At approx 48” in length (widest points), the vinyl dual-sided banners feature each player’s name and number, with their respective career years listed along the base. Each player has signed their banner in silver, with Richard adding “10/12/75”, with the handwritten limited-edition number of “2/16”, while Cournoyer has added “12/11/05”, with the handwritten limited-edition number of “4/12”. Each signed LOA has been set in a 15 ½” x 16 ½” frame with a photo of the player holding his banner along with a name plaque. We should note some light wear and a few marks to the banners, with some ink transfer over the reverse of the Cournoyer banner. The frames also exhibit a few chips.
